This great pattern will help you make your very own helper hippo and funky pocketed saddle. Whether you make it as a gift or keep it for yourself we know it will be well loved. 

Henrietta is can be made with hard-wearing fabric, but also looks lovely in craft cotton. Her saddle has handy pockets on either side to store your remote while you lounge on the hippo watching TV, or perhaps a pocket for secret snacks you don't want to share. She's also happy to be your craft companion and keep all your scissors, needles, and other accessories safe while you work.

You could fill them with half sand, half stuffing, to make a chunky doorstop or foot stall. However you make your hippo we are sure it will be happy.
