Hand Embroidery 2025/26 Under The Sea Textured Box of Stitches with Kathleen Laurel Sage

There is now a limited numbers of places available for this 12 month course starting in June either on the 1st Tuesday of the Month or 3rd Wednesday of the Month.

Purchase  10 Sessoins at £290 - there are 12 sessions across the year, this is the ideal solution to allow for holidays etc -  or 4 Sessions at a time for £118.  Pay monthly £32.50

This year you will create a folding box that will display your monthly embroideries on each side - inside and out. 

You will use the box to present your newly learned skills of textural stitches constructing a personal and unique under the sea aquarium of reeds, coral and tropical fishing swimming amongst ancient wrecks and sunken treasures.  You might want to include harbours and a light house on the outside of your box, opening it to reveal an enchanted undersea world beneath the waves. 

This is all achieveable as each month you create one of the box panels so that by the end of the year you will assemble a finished, stitched box displaying your work in all its glory.

Kathleen's class is the perfect place to practice and perfect many traditional and modern stitches capturing texture and colour in your finished box.

Kathleen has provided a picture board to demonstrate what the box might looik like.  Alongside Kathleen's guidance and suggestions, your choice of stiches, colours and threads will make each panel unique to you so your box will become something that you will be very proud of and might become that heirloom that starts conversations over many years.

And if the ocean not for you, not to worry.  Kathleen will assist you in creating a treasure box of your favourite places on land.

In addition to spending your time crafting there is a coffee shop on site - O For Coffee.  Tudor Rose Patchwork offers students 10% discount on anything consumed from O For Coffee.   As well as a large selection of hot and cold drinks, the menu includes jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties, soups.  For those with a sweet tooth there is also a variety of cakes baked on site including gluten free and vegan options.

Cancellation Policy:

• Should Tudor Rose Patchwork have to cancel a group meeting you will receive a full refund or a transfer to the next expected date (with your agreement).
• Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a group meeting, please phone or e-mail us  by 5pm of the day prior to the group meeting to arrange a payment transfer.  If cancelling for a Monday group meeting, please phone or e-mail by 5pm on Saturday.
• If a pattern is availabe and you cannot attend any paid for day then Tudor Rose patchwork will arrange for you to receive the pattern.
• Patterns remain the property of the tutor and should not be copied, passed on or used for teaching purposes without  the permission of the tutor.
