Project Linus Charity Days

Can you help Project Linus and Tudor Rose Patchwork provide comfort and security for babies, children and teenagers who are sick, disabled, distressed or disadvantaged?

Then come along to Tudor Rose Patchwork and work with the Project Linus team to help make wonderful charity quilts to help critically ill children. You can make a quilt of your own design, or you can head to the Project Linus website for free patterns. Ideal fabrics are those aimed at children/young adults.

Make a quilt at the group or donate your own to Project Linus UK (also accept part-finished quilts or blocks), all sizes of quilt are acceptable but suggested sizes are approximately:

  • 36" Square for young children
  • 42" Square for older children
  • 42" x 54" for teenagers

Linus days run from 10-4 but you are welcome to attend for half a day if this is the time you have spare.

2024:  2 and 30 August, 6 September and 29 November.

To participate in any of these days, the team making the quilts for Project Linus would appreciate a donation towards the materials used.

Please let us know if you are coming, it'll be a fun day for a good cause so we hope to see a lot of you there.  Give us a call and let us know what date you'd like to come.

Please do not add embellishments (such as buttons or ribbons) as these can come off and be swallowed.  All quilt should also be machine washable.

Please make sure the quilt has adequate quilting, we recommend the stitching is not more that 4" apart.

If you need any more information you can call us on 01234 824983, email us info@tudorrosepatchwork.co.uk or just drop in and talk to the counter team.
